This was a fun project, a Heath H8 computer from the late 1970's. It was donated to us by a local plumbing shop that used to use it for its accounting system!

It was dead on arrival, but with some effort, we got 'er running again. Fortunately, it came with a bunch of software, all on the original 8" floppy disks. It took some digging back in the gray matter to remember how to use the CPM operating system, though. Once we put our heads together, we had great fun playing the ancient games such as Asteroids!

The system now resides in a computer museum in Massachusetts.
