Often we get older electronics in the shop that have dials, etc. marked in "cycles per
second" where our modern test gear maybe calibrated in the newer "Hertz" unit of
measure. More often, though, we are trying to repair newer equipment using the
Hertz frequency units, but our older test gear still calibrated in cycles per second.
In order to resolve this situation, we refer to the cycles per second to Hertz
conversion chart that we developed some time ago. We've included here on our web
site with the thought that we may not be the only folks out there that need a handy
means of converting CPS to Hertz and visa versa.
